Each square is a real location in your service area. The number is where you show up on Google Maps for "plumber near me" from that spot. Green is top 3, where the calls come from. Red is off the first screen.
Baseline in week one was mostly orange and red with a green center of four squares. The north and west edges are the next fight: that's where the new "water heater repair Spring TX" service-area page is aimed.
3. Who the AI recommends
We ask Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the same 20 questions your customers ask, every month, and record whether you're named. Here are five of them.

Mention share this month: named or cited in 28 of 80 answers (35%). Competitor most often named instead of you: "ABC Plumbing" (41%). Slab leak is the gap: nobody local is being recommended yet, so it's the next page we write.

Slab leak. Nobody local is being recommended for it and you do the work, so next month we publish a "Slab leak repair cost in Houston" page with a plain-English cost range, add "slab leak detection" to your profile services, and request reviews from the three slab jobs you closed in August.
